Natural Cure for Acid Reflux / Indigestion?

Categories: Natural Cure For Acid Reflux
I experience horrible acid reflux from time to time that lingers for hours on end. Are there any natural cures. I’d like to stay away from pharmaceuticals if at all possible.

Apple Cider Vinegar… drink about 2oz of vinegar mixed into a 8oz glass of water…
sounds like the last thing you’d want, but it does work…
The actual problem is lack of acid, not too much.. so it bubbles up into the esophagus thus the ‘burn’
Oh, that’s unfortunate. Well, there are a few things you could do to help regulate the acid in your stomach and prevent the acid buildup.
First, you could take some Calcium product (like Tums, for example) to soothe it when it comes up, but make sure you don’t take too many too often… Too much Calcium can be bad for you.
For long-term effects, there are a few herbs that help to soothe the stomach like Ginger, DGL (Deglycyrrhizinated Licorice), Chamomile, Slippery Elm, Peppermint Oil, and Horehound Leaf. Those will help to coat and protect the esophagus, stomach, and intestinal tract, plus help with overall gastrointestinal upset. Good luck!
There is a fruit called “Russian False Mango”. It works as a light indegestant but I’m afraid it doesn’t do much for acid reflux.
Do not drink acids!!! (Vinegar)
The best stuff i’ve found is Aloe Vera Gel mixed with a non acidic juice.
Mix as much Aloe as you can handle (it tastes and looks like snot) with grape juice to give it some flavor. After the first glass you’ll feel the difference. Plus it heals ulcers and stomach problems. God’s gift to his children. The best part? It won’t hurt you and you can drink it as often as you want. Try it three times a day to start.
